Superhero Kyle turns 4!

My baby boy turned 4 years old. I cannot believe how the time flies! He is my little buddy and I love him so much! I love talking to him about everything. He loves to talk, and have fun! He is hilarious, and is constantly saying funny things!

We had a superhero friend birthday party. We made capes with each child’s first letter in their name. Then the kids "flew" around like superheroes with their capes. We also played pin the batman sticker on batman. But the biggest hit of all was the piñata. I was very thrilled that there were no black eyes, or broken anythings from this game! Oh my word was this a FUN day!

Mama loves you so much! I love coming in to get you in the morning, and seeing your sweet grin, with those adorable cheeks! You are so curious, and love everything! You adore your brother, and love to be held by him and your mom and dad! You are such a good baby, you only cry when you are hungry, or hurt. Usually just when you're hungry. You LOVE food so much! You will eat anything and everything. One of your most favorite things to do is sing songs with us. You love to sing "patty cake" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", you clap your hands and dance along as we sing. Lukie I love you so very much, I am so blessed that our Heavenly Father sent you to us to raise, you are amazing, and I am amazed to be your mother!

Disneyland and the Beach

We had a blast at Disneyland and the beach! What a fun family vacation. The kids were so excited to meet Mickey Mouse! Casey and I were just excited to get away! One funny story we left our house, and about 15 minutes later Kyle said, "How much longer, are we there yet?" Oh my word this was going to be a long drive, we thought. All in all the kids did a great job on the drive! We arrived in Las Vegas with hungry tummies, and only one diaper accident, wahoo!

The next day we drove to Hunington Beach, where we had so much fun playing at the beach and eating at a wonderful place on the pier, "Ruby's". Kyle LOVED collecting sea shells.

We arrived in Disneyland, and boy oh boy was it excitment overhall by EVERYONE, including Casey! We couldn't get enough of all of the fun rides, characters, and great food, and most of all being together as a family! This is a vacation I will remember forever!

Kyle is getting to be so big! He said the prayer in primary a few weeks ago, all by himself. Casey and I just sat back and watched him in amazement, we are so grateful for 2 incredible boys! This is what he said in his prayer, "Dear Heavenly Father we are grateful for this day. We are grateful to be here at church. Grateful for mama. Grateful for the kids. Grateful for mama. Grateful for the microphone. Grateful for mama. Grateful for Lukie. Grateful for mama. Grateful for all our blessings. Grateful for mama. Grateful for our teachers. Grateful for mama. We went to Baby Animal days in Logan, and oh my word was that a hit! Kyle LOVED picking up and petting all of the animals. I'm NOT so sure the animals loved it! The day was very rainy, but we still had a blast!

Yo ho Yo Ho a Pirates Life for Me!

Kyle keeps us on our toes!! He is sooo funny! He loves to make everyone laugh!! He loves to dress up as different people! We made this little pirate costume, and had a treasure hunt looking for gold dabloons! He wanted a boat in the water, so we laid out a blue blanket, and put a storage bin on top, pretending to be a boat in the ocean. Our little pirate went around the house saying “ARRG Maity!” ALLLLL NIGHT!! (what fun!)

Vegas Baby!

Our family LOVES vacations! We went to Cedar City and stayed at my Aunt and Uncle’s house. They are great!! We had such a fun time talking with them and playing games. Kyle of course found the TOYS, and he was set! The next morning we woke up to SNOW, we couldn’t believe it! So, we skipped Zions and went straight to Vegas.

Vegas was great! We saw all the great hotels, and the extravagant things they had to offer. Kyle was a fan of all of the loud music in some of the stores. We have a dancer on our hands!!

Funny story: we were walking on the street and Kyle saw people dressed up as Woody and Buzz, of course he was so excited! Next to them was a man dressed in all gold, who was standing perfectly still. When you put money in his bucket he screamed out “AAWWW, OOOUUUUU!” Scared Kyle to DEATH!!! Well needless to say, we kept going. After dinner at a fabulous Belagio buffet, melt down from Lukie, and mad dash from the restaurant, we started back to our hotel. On our way there Kyle said in a sing song tone as if he was looking for these people, “Woody, Buzz, Mean guy!” Casey and I were laughing so hard we couldn’t stand it!!

I am so grateful for my family and the fun times we always have together! Love you all!

Luke is 4 months old!

Luke is 4 months old!! I can't believe it. He is more adorable than ever. Some names he goes by: Lukie, Little chief, Little man, Luksters! He is all smiles! He is always smiling every time I look at him. I look over at him in the morning, and all I see are him gums because he is smiling so big!! He LOVES to eat, his diet consists of rice cereal 2 times a day, and six 7 oz. bottles daily. He loves to play with his brother, and watches every move he makes. We love our little Lukie more than ever!

Winter Fun

Casey had 2 weeks off around Christmas, and we had so much fun. We played in the snow, built a huge snow man, went sledding, rode a carousel (sp) and just played! We had so much fun together!

I can't believe that my baby boy is 3!! I guess he really isn't a baby anymore. He is doing so many big boy things, like: going to the potty, kind of dressing himself, using big boy words like "Mom, that is excellent, or I am frusterated, or I am starved down to my bones!"

Here are some of Kyles likes at 3 years old:

New Happenings!

I can't believe our little baby is almost 2 months. In that two month time, we have been doing alot of sleeping, playing, bubble baths, and more sleeping!!!
ps (Kyle loves to get every toy he has in his room and put it in a HUGE pile, and then say, "Mom, can you PLEASE clean up that mess!") Ummmm, let me think nope! He makes me laugh every day, he is our little clown, love him!!

Halloween

Halloween was sooo fun! Kyle LOVED being a dragon, he is all about dragons, snakes, and dinosaurs!! Complete boy!! Luke was a monster for Halloween, even though in real life he is a total angel! We had Halloween parties at both our families houses.

Kyle LOVED going trick-or-treating! I stayed home with Luke, but Casey took Kyle out, and it was pouring rain! Casey said that Kyle was the nicest little trick-or-treater ever! He would say, "Thank you so much!" after every person gave him some candy! What a little sweetheart! I love my boys! Casey also dressed up on Halloween! I LOVE my sweet old man husband!

Luke was not a big fan of the bath, well he pretty much cried the whole time! We will off set the sad bath picture with darling happy ones that my sister took! (Side note, his skin in the bath picture looks like he has been in the tanning booth for a few hours, thanks to jaundice, but that went away with the lovely bili-bed which is like a little tanning bed in itself!)

37 Weeks and counting!!

I am 37 weeks on Friday, and counting down! I am so excited for this little guy to come join our family. Mostly I'm excited NOT to be pregnant anymore. I am excited for the little things, like being able to bend over and put socks on, or tie my shoes. Also, when I look down being able to see Kyle at my feet and not a big belly. Wahoo for babies!

Bear Lake

We wanted to have one last vacation before the little one gets here, so we went to Bear Lake. Kyle was in heaven. He was asking for about 3 weeks before we left, "Do we get to go to the beach today?" He asked that every day multiple times a day until the day we left. WOW!! If that doesn't teach someone patience, I don't know what will. We had so much fun playing in the sand, building sand castles, riding the jet ski, swimming in the pool, and just relaxing together as a family!!

Greenwood Family Reunion

This weekend we attended the Greenwood Family Reunion. Casey has a HUGE family, there usually are about 150 people at these reunions. Kyle had so much fun playing in the dirt, fishing, playing tennis, hanging out with his cousins, and trying to touch every dog that walked by. One of his most favorite things was the rope swing, I can't believe how tight he held on, he has more upper body strength than I do, YIKES!! Casey and Kyle were able to catch about 8 fish, but they threw them back. The pond was really mossy, so Kyle kept saying, "Mommy dad, I'm going to catch some moss!" So when he actually caught some fish, he was really excited!!

Bike Parade

Our ward had a bike parade, Kyle was so excited about it! His feet don't quite hit the pedals on his bike, so he rode in his car, and Casey pushed him. We decorated his car with balloons, and he said, "That is soooo awesome mom!" I can't believe my little baby boy is using words like awesome, they grow up so fast!! After the parade reached the park, the fire truck sprayed the kids down with the hose, and Kyle wasn't a fan of the freezing cold water, so he started to book it, and face planted on the road, YIKES!! Poor thing, thank goodness we had plenty of spiderman, and mickey mouse bandaids to cover all the owies!

We started out by going to the parade, Kyle LOVED the horses. Then we went up to the Oaks and ate lunch. After full tummies we came home and swam. What a fun filled day!

4th of July weekend Festivities!

We started by going up to the Valley, an annual family tradition for breakfast, games, and the parade. Kyle loved the blow up slides, he thought it would be fun to RUN down the slide, instead of sit down. We followed that by going to my parents for a delicious lunch.

Casey had Monday off, so we went to the zoo. Let me tell you was Kyle in HEAVEN!! He loves animals. Needless to say, he packed ALL of his play animals, (which he takes everywhere with him, notice in the picture above, they are all lined up on the window at the Pizza Factory.) We lost his beloved snake at the zoo. So now whenever we talk about the zoo, he say, "I lost my snake at the zoo, aaahhhh!!"

5 Years Wahoo!!

It was our 5 year anniversary on June 9! Casey took me to San Fransisco, and we had a blast! We were able to see so many amazing things, and enjoy so much fabulous food! Our families are amazing! Thanks for watching Kyle. This was our FIRST trip without him. He did a great job with my sister-in-law, and my mom, and sister! Thanks so much you guys, we love you!!

Waterfall!

Father Son's Outing

Casey and Kyle went on the Father and son's outing a few weeks, ago, and had a blast!! Kyle LOVES being outside. Anthing with water, worms, or fire, and he is set! Casey said if he wasn't trying to hop into the freezing cold river, then he was poking a stick in the scalding hot fire! Wahoo we have out hands full! Love my boys!

SNAKE "FELF"

Kyle is talking up a storm, and we are trying to help him not develop bad habits when he speaks! He is VERY independent, and everything has to be done "himself"!! He always says "FELF MOM FELF!!!" So I was trying to teach him that it is self with an "S" so I would say, Kyle it's like the word Snake and then I would repeat, "snake, self, snake, self, really emphasizing the "S" sound. He was starting to get it, and then the other day, he was really angry that I was trying to help with something, and he screams out, "SNAKE, FELF, SNAKE FELF!" Oh dear, the joys of 2 year olds!

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter. Kyle loved the idea of getting candy inside of eggs! His most favorite treat was "jumpin beans" jelly beans!! I get a kick out of some of the words he come up with. We had a fun Easter egg hunt at our house, and then we went to the city one at the park.

To start the egg hunt, there was as fire truck that sounded its siron, and Kyle completely forgot about the eggs, he was frozen in his tracks looking at the fire truck!

Exciting News!!

Our family has some very exciting news! After a long time coming, we are pregnant again, WAHOO!

I have been extremely sick, these last couple of months. My husband is superman. I don't know what I would ever do without him. Kyle wants to be exactly like dad, if dad is wearing a hat, "MOM, where's my hat?" Then he'll walk up to Casey and say "Cool hat dad!" They are two peas in a pod! Casey has stepped up so much. He takes out the trash, goes for late night grocery runs, fixes dinner, puts me and Kyle to bed. He does all this and more without complaining, after a long days work. I love him so very much, and I am so grateful for him!!

I am also so grateful for my friends and family. My friends from the ward have been amazing, bringing in meals, calling to make sure I'm not dying, taking Kyle for play dates, and much more. You'll never know how much that means to me. Our families have also been a great support.

Our baby is due October 11, 2010. Everything looks great, and the baby is very healthy. I feel so blessed to be able to have another baby. We had some rough times with a miscarriage, and then waiting to get pregnant. I am so grateful to Heavenly Father for this opportunity to be a mom of another precious little one. I know that prayers are always answered, according to our faith and the Lord's will, and I am so blessed that I have the opportunity to pray to my Father in Heaven. I LOVE being a mommy!

My sister and I went to get the kids picture taken with Santa, and they loved it, except for Joey, his little lip started shaking, but when he saw Kyle climb up on Santa's knee, he thought, "If Kyle can do it, so can I!" Kyle had so much fun on his birthday, it was Nemo theme. He just loves fish! His most favorite part of his whole b-day was blowing out the candles! He LOVES fire, yikes, not the best thing to love, we will have to keep an eye on this child. As you can see in the picture aboe, he was crying even before a single present was opened, can we say "STIMULATION OVERLOAD!!" We love him now more than ever! So I wanted to get Kyles picture taken when he was 2, but I wanted fall leaves, so I gues 23 months can count as 2. My sister wrote a "mommy's letter to her little boy, and I thought it was such a good idea, so here it goes."

My sweet Kyle,

You are my joy! I wake up and can't wait to start our day together. You love so many things. Your most favorite thing in the whole world is Nemo "MEEMOO" You absolutley love anything to do with fish or Nemo. You love to play with trains, and trucks! You know the sounds they make and everything. You are starting to learn your colors, and I get a kick out of you trying to learn new words. You still love your "boon-nay" (bink and blank) for bed time.

You have 4 staple things you like to eat; chicken nuggets, cheese sandwich, juice, and pizza. Thank goodness for vitamins!!

You adore your daddy and your daddy adores you!! You wake up and look all over the house for him. When he comes home from work you scream his name and run as fast as you can to give him hugs! I love watching the two of you play together!

You love to brush your teeth all by yourself! You also are learning to use a big boy potty, yeah, I am so excited as are you. You LOVE doing things by yourself, and I am so proud of you!!

Kyle I am so grateful that you are a part of our family, it wouldn't be complete without you! I will love you forever my sweet little baby boy!

Kyle was a monkey for Halloween and he was darling! He loved going trick-or-treating! He would knock on the door and stand right up next to the door, so when the people opened it, he was ready to walk in their house.

We went for 2 1/2 days and it was for sure the way to go, we were able to see everything, and then some! Kyle adored it, he loved the rides, parades, food, and atmosphere! His most favorite ride was "Submarine, Nemo" or in his words "MEEMOO"!! He also loved the Tiki Room. Casey and I LOVED splash mountain, it was GREAT! This trip was one of a kind, and we had a blast with my mom and dad, and my sister and her fam! Thanks again Mom and Dad, we love you guys!!

Family Vacation (Part one) San Diego Zoo and Seaworld!

This past week and a half our family went on a vacation, and it was fantastic! We went to Las Vegas, San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, and Disneyland!! We had so much fun spending time togeher. Thanks so much mom and dad for everything, we had a blast.

We took so many pictures that I am going to have to do three individual posts. Part one is going to be San Diego Zoo and Seaworld. Kyle LOVED the zoo and Seaworld, he loves animals, so this trip was right up his alley.

My parents rented a beautiful beach house in San Diego, and this is Kyle the morning before we went to the zoo, he is such a character!

Weekend fun with GREAT friends!

We went up to our friends cabin over Labor Day weekend and had a blast!! It was our very first time leaving Kyle over night since he was born, but we didn't worry at all, because he was in great hands with my sister. Kyle loves my sister and playing with his cousins, "K-T, and J" in Kyle's words.

Over the weekend we had loads of laughs, many games were played, and yummy food eaten! One funny story, we went on a walk up at Brighton ski resort, and I was dinging around like always and my glasses flew off my head and into the lake where it said "Keep all body parts out of the lake," Chris, our friend stuck his hand down in the lake and got my sunglasses out, YEAH, they are my favorite glasses. They also had this amazing swing at the cabin, it was a little scary, you will have to watch the video. One of the video's is of me, and the other is of Casey making fun of me, "hilarious,"! This past weekend we went fishing for my Mom's birthday. First of all my mom is amazing, and I want her to know I am so blessed to have her for a mom, happy birthday mom, we love you!

Kyle thought that fishing was the cat's meow!! He loved it, and he is at that stage where he wants to do everything for himself, (kinda frustrating)!! The whole time Kyle was fishing, he wouldn't let anyone help him, he kept saying "OHHHH NOOOO"! I bet the fish were really glad when we left, because Kyle kept wacking them with his pole, "Whoopsie." When he would catch one he would pull it out, and it would flop back in, and then he would do it all over, "poor fish"!! We had so much fun, Thanks mom and dad!

We had an eventful and fun 4th of July this year! We started out the day by rushing around in the morning getting ready to go the Huntsville for the breakfast and parade with my family. We were just about to walk out the door, and it happened! Kyle looked up at me, and then whamy he throws up all over my shoes. Right after that incident he says, "Whew, Leeez go!" It was very commical, because he didn't act sick at all! We got cleaned up and left for Huntsville. The breakfast and parade was great, Kyle loved the Otter pops! Kyle and Casey went down the blow-up slides, and they BOTH loved it!! The pictures are hilarious! After that we had a wonderful BBQ at my parents house, where we had fun playing croquet, bad mitten, and Kyle got a new lawn mower from Grandma and Papa (Thanks mom and dad he LOVES it!) All of the cousins loved the lawn mowers. After that we went to Casey's families for a BBQ. We came home and were too wiped out for fire works, we all fell asleep!! Whoops!

4th Anniversary / St. George Trip

Casey and I have been married for 4 years, I can't believe it, the time has gone by so fast!! Casey took Friday of and we went to Hogle Zoo, Kyle LOVES animals! Then we left for St. George on Sunday. We had so much fun! We went hiking in Zions, miniture golfing, go-cart riding, playing tennis, and swimming (Where we got rashes from there being too many chemicals in the hot tub, and Kyle's skin was dyed blue from his shirt.) Besides the hot tub incident we had such a great time together!! It's great to get away and have a fun vacation with the fam!

It seems as though we have been working on our sprinklers forever!! Next time we are for sure hiring someone else to put them in! Despite all of our troubles with the sprinklers, they are finally IN!! We really appreciate everyone that came to help us! Kyle is a true lover of the DIRT. He has been a champ, he just plays in the dirt and water, and loves it!

Kyle has been sick this past week with an ear infection. We took him to the doctor and waited for 3 hours, and then they stuck him several times with a needle! It is the WORST to see your child hurting, but you know it's the best thing for them, so they can get better. He is doing much better now, and you can tell from the "goggle picture"!! (Love this boy)

Easter was so fun this year! We started out by going to a city egg hunt. They started the egg hunt by sounding the fire truck horn, needless to say, Kyle started screaming. By the time I had him calmed down, all the kids were racing to get their share of eggs. Kyle would pick up an egg, and open it right on the spot, he loved finding things inside! We came home and colored eggs, that was super fun!!

On Sunday we went to church and celebrated the true reason we have Easter. I couldn't help by think about the talk that Elder Holland gave in conference about the atonement. That morning before church Casey and I watched a video that the church had put to Elder Holland's talk, it was so touching, I am so grateful for my Savior and his sacrifice so we could return to our Heavenly Father who loves us!

My mom and dad put on a magnificent feast and egg hunt every year, we had so much fun. Kyle loved seeing his cousins, and looking for eggs! We then stopped over at Casey's families' to end the great day! I am so grateful for my family!

This weekend was so fun and warm. We decided to go fly kites! Kyle loved it, and I must say, I love flying kites, I haven't done it forever, and it was a blast! The weather was perfect, and Kyle was able to fly the kite by himself, incredible!

Casey and I had our birthday on Jan. 31. We were born on the exact same day, isn't that great!

We had many fun festivities this year. We went out with my family a few weeks earlier to celebrate our birthday, Joey's (nephew) and my grandmas. We all have birthdays in January! First we started out by bowling, and let me tell you that was a BLAST! My dad brought his own ball and everything! We call him "THE HAMMER" he is hilarious. I am the WORST at bowling, I think maybe I broke 50, YIKES! But, it was so much fun. After we went to my most favorite place ever Tepanyaki. It was so fun, Kyle was loving putting this menu on his head. Then we came back to our house for presents and this incredible cake that my sister made, it was a circus train, she is so talented, thanks Melis!

On Friday Jan. 30 we went out to Texas Roadhouse with Casey's family. It was great fun. Funny story, the waitress brought out our food, and I wasn't really paying attention to Kyle, and I look around at him after a while, and there his is putting his hand on the steak that is still on the tray that the waitress had brought out for someone else, WHOOPSIE! I grabbed his hand and wiped it off before the waitress could see, luckily the steak went to someone at our table, I guess I will have to watch Kyle more carefully!!

Saturday Jan. 31, I planned a surprise DAY for Casey. We woke up and had some yummy breakfast, then we took Kyle to my mom and dad's and they were so sweet and watched him while we went to a movie (thanks mom and dad), we love you. We went to "Bride Wars" it was hilarious! Then we picked Kyle up and we went to Famous Daves where our friends came and we had a great time, then they came to our house after for some catching up, it was so fun!

We had a wonderful Christmas season. We started the Christmas season by going to see the lights at temple square, our fav, (it was beautiful and cold!)

One of our traditions it to have an advent calendar and open a door each day and get a prize! Kyle loved the advent calendar. The whole month of December he would crawl over to the calendar and open the doors and take the prizes out, I guess we will have to put it up high next year!

On Christmas morning we had Christmas with our little family, and then we went to Casey's parents for breakfast, and then my parents for lunch, it was a great day, but Kyle was sick (sinus infections are never fun!) -As you can see from the pictures he looks a little forlorne.-

Saturday was Kyle's first birthday party. I can't believe that he is already 1, time really flies by. It seems like yesterday we brought him home from the hospital! We love him now more than ever, and we are so grateful that he is ours.

On saturday we had a party with my family. The theme of the party was "cars", because Kyle loves all types of cars. We opened presents, had cake and ice cream, and enjoyed many laughs. Kyle has a sweet tooth, he loved eating his cake!

Annual Butterfield Christmas Party

For the past five years, we have had a Christmas party with our friends the Butterfields. It is so fun to get together with good company and laugh! We start out the evening with a feast prepared by Stephanie. This year it was prime rib, mashed potatoes, carrotts, shrimp, rolls, and chocolate cheese cake! DELICIOUS! Then we retire downstairs and listen to Casey read us a Christmas story that the Butterfields pick out. We then play some games, this year it was Bingo. We had a delightful time, thanks again Butterfields, we love you guys!!

I have the most wonderful husband in the whole wide world. He is so sweet and kind to me and our son. If I need him to do something, he doesn't ever hesitate to say "YES!" I just wanted him to know how much I love him, and am grateful for him!

First Hair Cut!

I can't believe it, Kyle had his official first hair cut. I cut it myself, so I'm sure it is lopsided, but he was starting to look like a little girl, so we had to take drastic measures. At first we started to use Casey's electric trimmers, but Kyle wasn't having any of that, he was screaming!! So we decided to put him in the bath, and I would use the good old scissors. He didn't even know I was cutting his hair, because he loves the bath so much, and he was having so much fun!

What? Yes, it's true, our house is SOLD! We will miss that house, a lot of great memories were made there! We will miss all of our family and friends very much, but we are excited for this new step in our lives. We have been looking for a long time for a home that we could love, and we found our dream home. It is in Syracuse, and it was just built. We hope to move into this new home in about 2 weeks. My parents are fabulous and are letting us shack up with them until we can close on our new house. Stay tuned for pictures of the new aboad (I think that's how you spell it!)

Kyle is 9 months, I can't believe it. He is getting more and more of a personality every day. Some new things that he has picked up are: clapping, waving, and tongue clicking. He claps at everything, even when he is sad, he claps, it is really funny. He has figured out how to wave hello, and goodbye, what a smart little cookie, (I can say that because I'm his mom, hee hee)! And this is the most hilarious one, he clicks his tongue. You click your tongue at him, and he clicks back, it's great!

My sweet husband started his new job today. He is now working at Zions bank corporate office in West Valley as a Project Manager. I am so proud of him for getting this new and exciting job! Another exciting thing is that we put our house up for sale, yahoo! We hope to move asap. If there is anyone who is interested, or knows anyone looking for a great townhouse, let me know! We are excited for this new step in our lives. We are looking at homes in North Salt Lake, and Bountiful, that's fun!

Thanksgiving Point Weddings!!

This last weeks Casey and I went to my cousins wedding and one of my childhood friends wedding at Thanksgiving point. They were beautiful, and the crazy thing is, I brought my camera, but did I take any pictures of the weddings; no, whoops. I guess I was too excited about how great the weddings were. We did take some pictures at Thanksgiving point, it is beautiful there. Congratulations again, Meg and Jordan, you were both beautiful brides!!!

11 Things You Don't Know About Kyle!

1. Kyle loves to snuggle with his dad. When Casey gets home from work, Kyle gets so excited, and snuggles right into his arms! It is the cutest thing ever!

2. Kyle loves to be tickled, he laughs and laughs! When you start lifting up his arm to tickle his armpit, he knows whats coming, and starts laughing.

3. Kyle loves to play peek-a-boo. Any form of peek-a-boo will do, he just loves to play!

4. Kyle loves to suck on his feet, and grab things with his feet, he is actually like a monkey, and the ironic thing, is his favorite stuffed animal is a monkey!

5. Kyle loves to grab anything in sight, and put it directly in his mouth!

6. Kyle loves bath time, he loves to splash and splash, he thinks it is so funny to splash me, and get my clothes all wet, then we both start laughing, and it is a wonderful time!

7. Kyle is not a big fan of sudden loud noises, he prefers softer sounds.

8. Kyle loves to grab people's faces, and put his hands in their mouths, and grab their lips. Yikes, I hope he grows out of that habit.

9. Kyle loves rice cereal, he flaps his arms when he sees me start to make it, and then he flaps so hard, that he knocks the dish and spoon right out of my hands, and rice cereal goes everywhere!

10. Kyle loves books. He loves to look at the pictures, and then put the book directly in his mouth!

11. Kyle is such a sweet heart, and he is such a happy and smiley baby. Casey and I love him so very much!

Kyle's First Swim!

Kyle and I went swimming for the first time on Monday at the North Shore Aquatic Center, and he wasn't a big fan. I tried and tried to get him in the water, but he would cry everytime we came close. These are some of the pictures that said, "I am not happy." He cheered up a little when he had his squash.

We had a ward activity the next day at Layton surf and swim, and I thought we would try swimming again. Casey took Kyle out into the water and he LOVED it! I think that Casey must have the magic touch. Kyle was splashing all around, trying to grab the water, and kicking his little feet! I took the cutest picture of Casey and Kyle, and Kyle is giving me the biggest cheeser of all, I love it! I am so excited that he likes the water, because there will be many more adventures to the pool!!

On Saturday, Casey and I went to Maryam's wedding, one of my best friends! It was amazing. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple by President Uchtdorf. It was so cool to see him in real life. It was so incredible, and Mar looked so beautiful. After the wedding, we went to her Persian wedding at the Grand America Hotel. That was so cool to see a different culture, and how they celebrate weddings. The dinner that was served was delicious! I am so proud of you Mar, and everything that you have accomplished. This last week we were able to go to Cannon Beach, Oregon with my family! Can I just say this is one of my most favorite places in the whole world. We had so much fun spending time with the fam! Late nights of games, watching "The Office", and wonderful company, what more could you ask for?

We went on several walks on the beach and Kyle loved it! He loves being in his snugli. Whoever invented those things "thankyou" hee hee!

We went on a walk through the Oswald National Park it was so beautiful! But, the time that we needed the snugli the most, figures, we forgot it, so we bundled Kyle up in every possible thing we could find. Thanks Barb and Greg for letting us use your waterproof coat that was a lifesaver!

We also went to the Tillamok cheese factory. I was in heaven! I absolutely LOVE cheese, my favorite part of the cheese factory was the sampling YUMMY!!! Kyle says, "Yeah for cheese!"

Casey and I got a chance to go golfing in Cannon Beach, and my oh my was is great! My mom, the sweetheart watched Kyle while we went. I love going golfing with Casey, well I guess I don't golf, I just drive the cart, but it is a blast spending time with my honey! Love ya babe!

Kyle's First Hike!

This last saturday morning we went on a hike to waterfall canyon! It was fantastic. The weather was not too hot and not too cold. Kyle loved being in his snugli on Casey's chest. I couldn't believe how much water run off there was. The waterfall was huge and beautiful! I am so grateful to live in this land, and I am so blessed to have the family that I do. I love them with all of my heart!

We finally made it to the top, and I was famished. I am sooooo out of shape! (That granola bar tasted better than anything ever has!!)

Cheese!! It was freezing in front of the falls, so we were really shivering in our shoes during this photo.

Kyle was super worn out on the way down from the hike, and he fell right to sleep as we headed back down the mountain! (cute!)

We love spending time as a family, and this hike was fantastic!

This past month my mom graduated with her master degree in education! Way to go mom! I left for the graduation at about 11:20am and we arrived in plenty of time; I thought, except for when I saw that there were no parking places "fantastic!" I had to park way out on the street and parallel park, which I am very bad at. I was hurrying so fast, but we made it on time. Casey met us there from work. After the graduation, we came out to my car, and discovered that I parked up on the curb, so Casey took this lovely picture of my wheel on the curb "great!"

We had so much fun seeing our family. I just love getting together with everyone! Mom, we are so proud of you! You are amazing!

First Real Meal!!

Kyle tried his first meal of rice cereal. He was trying so hard to figure out what I was putting in his mouth, and what he should do with it. He liked the first few bites, but after that he would start crying and just spit it back out. I kept feeding him the rice cereal for about a week, and then we tried sweet potatoes. He really wasn't a big fan. I just got a whole lot of "scrunched up nose faces" from him, so I decided we would hold off a little longer on the cereal and baby food, and I think that Kyle is fine with that (hee hee!)

We are so excited for the summer. I put Kyle in some of his summer outfits, and took some pictures. I know that is kind of lame, but I just love dressing him up, and then taking his picture. I just can't help it, he is so dang cute!

Kyle also loves to take his bath. By the end of his bathing process we both are drenched, because he thinks it is so funny to splash and get me wet! I can't help but laugh, he is my little sweetheart!

Rolling Over!!

On April 7, 2008 it finally happened, Kyle rolled over! I was so excited I yelped, and it scared Kyle and he started to cry, whoops. I can't believe the things that excite me, I love it. Kyle is getting so big right before our eyes.

We just took Kyle to his 4 month check up and he is 26" long which is in the 95% for his age. He is super tall and skinny. He only weighs 12.8lbs, but the doctor says that is just fine, so we were excited. He is such a little sweetheart, and we love him so much!

Kyle is growing up so very quickly, I can't believe it, he is almost four months. He is learning how to do so many new things. He loves hanging out on dad's shoulders. His head has finally become steady, wahoo, no more bobblehead! He has discovered his hands, and he entertains himself by sucking on them! He loves to laugh and coo. Sometimes I feel like an idiot, because I will make the biggest fool out of myself just to get a little coo or laugh out of him and I think inside Kyle is really laughing at what a nerd I am, but I don't care because he is just so precious and I love to see him happy! I love being Kyle's mom it is the greatest ever!

Easter

Easter was great this year! We had dinner at my mom's house and it was yummy! After the dinner we had our annual easter egg hunt. Now, I must say that I am the worst egg hunter in the world. I only found two eggs, and Casey came in with the highest egg count as always. Kyle isn't really interested in eggs and candy this year, but next year, "LOOK OUT!" I think that he is going to love food. We had so much fun with my mom and dad, and my sister and her family and relatives. After we went to my mom's house, we went over to Casey's grandma's house and had the annual popcorn, gummy worm, and peep treats. It was great fun.

I am truly grateful for this Easter season, and what Easter really means. I am grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ and that he died for all of us so that we could return to live with our Heavenly Father again, and be forever families!
